The Advanced Statistics functions of EZAnalyze are called "advanced" because their use requires some knowledge on the part of the user regarding hypothesis testing to accurately interpret them. Unlike the rest of the EZAnalyze functions, which are well documented and explained in the help files and tutorials, you will only learn how to use the advanced statistics functions from the EZAnalyze documentation. Interpretation and appropriate use of these statistical functions are well beyond the scope of the included documentation.
That said, EZAnalyze can help you do a correlation, one sample t-test, paired samples t-test, independent samples t-test, single factor or repeated measures ANOVA, regression, or chi-square fairly easily!
From the EZAnalyze main menu, choose "Advanced" to bring up your choices of the advanced functions. For more information, click on the link to go to the appropriate help topic.
Correlation - get Pearson correlation coefficients. Useful for describing relationships betweeen variables.
T-Tests - get a t-score, significance level, and related statistics of the difference between two means using a one sample, paired samples, or independent samples t-test.
ANOVA - get an F score, significance level, and related statistics of the difference between two or more means using a 'One Way ANOVA
Repeated Measures ANOVA - Get an F score, significance level, and related statistics of the difference between two or more means in a repeated measures design
Chi Square - a "non-parametric" test - get a chi-squared value and significance level for the difference between the frequencies of cells in a chi square table
Regression - conduct a simple or multiple linear regression. NOTE: This function requires the 'Analysis Toolpak - VBA.'
