Changingi Macro Security Settings
To install or use EZAnalyze or the TimeTracker, you may need to change
your macro security settings. The EZAnalyze Version 3.0 automated
installer and the TimeTracker are no longer digitally signed,
requiring you to use a Medium security level or lower - using
a lower security level is not recommended. Below
are instructions for Excel 2007 (which should work for 2010),
and Excel 2003 (which should work for all other versions of
Excel, PC or Mac).
Changing Excel 2007 Security to Medium
Open Excel 2007, and:
- Click on the Office Button ,
and then choose Excel Options (near the bottom)
- Click on Trust Center on the left, then click the Trust
Center Settings button
- Click on Macro Settings on the left, then choose 'Disable
all macros with notification'
- Click OK. You will now be prompted to enable macros
when you open a macro-enabled document
Changing Excel 2003 Security to Medium
